This was so simple to make and delicious. For ease in the blender, make sure to add the peanut butter at the very end after blending the ice, milk and chocolate. I used natural peanut butter (Teddys) and it mixed really well. A perfect midday snack.
This recipe is AWESSOME! I made a few changes: I made this for 2 people and used 1/4 cup peanut butter, 8 icecubes, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and 1 tablespoon maple syrup. I also added ½ teaspoon vanilla extract. It was a nice balance and the creamy peanut butter was add 3 tablespoon. This is a nice end to a very long day. I will definitely make this again!
AVOCADO CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE

½ medium avocado
1 medium ripe frozen banana
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1½ cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk (more or less to desired consistency)
1 tablespoon maple syrup (more or less to taste)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, but recommended)
Add everything into a blender and blend on high for about 2 – 4 minutes, or until smooth and creamy. Add more milk as necessary to reach your desired thickness.
