To make it a little figure friendly. I decided to just use Manggo Avocado and Banana, along with some whey protein powder from the health foods store, and spinach. This is what I drink after a work out. I love how sweet the banana makes it without adding artificial sweeteners, and the manggo chunk has such a fresh taste, it may not look pretty but it certainly is a really great pick me up after a hard workout.
I couldn’t say enough wonderful things! My kids love it, too. The Avocado the taste of the Manggo, and the cayenne gives it that yummy zing it needs, and using spinach just adds to the deliciousness and goodness! Definitely worth the time to try! Best one I’ve found yet!
BANANA MANGO AVOCADO GREEN SMOOTHIE + A READER SURVEY!
1 banana, frozen
1 cup mango chunks, frozen
1 cup spinach
½ medium avocado
1 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk
Splash of vanilla extract
Few drops of stevia extract or other sweetener (optional)
- In a blender or food processor, place all ingredients.
- Blend until smoothie. Pour into 1 large or 2 small cups.
